Agreement
These terms apply to your use of Kitalo: Bundles & Discounts (the “app”), provided by CleverBooster (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and to Shopify’s own terms for apps. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
The service
The app lets you create offers, such as quantity breaks, bundles, buy X get Y, free gifts, tiered order discounts and free shipping, as Shopify discounts, and shows them on your online store through a theme app extension.
The app has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Paid plans are billed by Shopify and only after you approve the charge in Shopify. You can cancel at any time by switching to the Free plan or uninstalling the app. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
What the app can and cannot do
Discounts are calculated by Shopify. Which discount a shopper receives also depends on your other discounts, your combination settings, and Shopify’s rules, including the limit of 25 active app discounts per store.
Storefront widgets depend on your theme. We support Online Store 2.0 themes and cannot guarantee compatibility with every theme or third-party app.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the offers you create, including their prices, dates and eligibility, and for checking them (for example with the cart simulator) before you publish them.
- You are responsible for any text you write in the app, such as offer headings and messages, and for following the pricing, promotion and consumer laws where you sell.
- You are responsible for any custom CSS you add.
- You must not use the app for anything unlawful or in violation of Shopify’s terms.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what information the app handles. In short, we store your store domain, an access token, and the offers and settings you create, and we collect no customer data.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your store and its content. We keep all rights to the app, its code, and its branding. These terms do not transfer ownership of either.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme or third-party app.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app, including discounts given because of offer settings. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the three months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; your settings and session data are then removed as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or end the app, or your access to it, if you break these terms or if we discontinue the app. We will try to give reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you inside the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
